Hello, my name is Joy and I am writing to you because I would like to organize a fundraiser event for those who are in urgent need of financial support. I personally know a few of families in Cleveland and Columbus who can't cover their basic needs and I think it would be a great opportunity for us to show our compassion and support them as followers of Christ during this time of difficulties.
I have been working as a speech pathologist at a nursing home, and it has been heartbreaking to see residents not being able to see their families and friends. This inspired me to create some postcards to encourage the residents. While making some postcards, I also learned that there are some people who are struggling financially due to the Coronavirus pandemic. I also learned that there is a senior who recently lost his home and is currently in need of housing. Therefore, I decided to start a fundraiser where 100% of the proceeds will go to these particular families in Cleveland and Columbus. I am asking for a minimum donation of $10, and for each donation, I would like to gift you a 4 pack of hand-painted postcards. (These postcards already include stamps, so you don't have to stand in line and possibly get infected ;)).
